Introduction
Hi everybody, my name is Sami Elhajjeh. I'm a resident of Courtice, Ontario. I ran municipally for a local Ward 1 councillor in Clarington, which is the musicality of Clarington and I've been working in public health for over 10 years. One of the main reasons why I ran specifically was because there's an incinerator in Courtice and because I want to raise a family in Curtis I was concerned with the public health issues with that incinerator, you know dioxins and furans which could potentially create cancers. So I wanted to increase awareness as well as possibly increase testing to minimize any potential for cancer risk.
