Hi I'm Kayvon Mihan, I'm a student trustee for the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board and a president of the Ontario Student Trustees' Association. In my experience as a student trustee I have learned that a lot of times the youth voice is missed or there are some pieces of decision making that are missed by decision makers such as politicians at the local, provincial and federal level so I think it's incredibly important that we hear a fresh and new voice and that's the voice of the youth.
