This workshop will give you an understanding of Council's roles and responsibilities and the significant changes coming to local government. It will also explain how duties and responsibilities of public office will impact your life.

Speaker: FRED DEAN is a lawyer who acts exclusively for municipalities across Ontario and municipal associations. He works with elected officials and senior staff giving them tools to make effective decisions on behalf of their communities. He has been one of the facilitators training members of council and heads of council on behalf of the Association of Municipalities on Ontario since 2002.
