I've been involved with DemocracyKit since 2016. I worked with the team in Toronto to build the Kit and grow the volunteer community. As the Co-Director of the Toronto Chapter, I helped to build a stellar executive team that worked to grow DemocracyKit's presence throughout the city. Since moving to Ottawa, I've taken on the role of Chapter Director. I'm excited to be working with a great team to raise awareness about how DemocracyKit can support candidates in the upcoming municipal election.
In my day job, I work as a management consultant. I have a background in the public sector - I worked for the Ontario government in a range of capacities, including developing policies and programs to support Indigenous communities and on intergovernmental affairs.
I am a passionate non-partisan who believes strongly in the importance of civic engagement and making politics accessible to anyone and everyone.
